So this is an animation i have been working on in bits over the last say, 2 weeks. There's a fair few things that could still be done but i feel i've given it more than enough attention. The point of this was to sort of explore the changing of state in the character, and throw in some comedy cartoon timing. Again there is still things that need work on, i dont feel i have pushed it far enough but i've got some good stuff out of it. Anyways.

Another maya venture...
So this is a little something i've done with the joe rig by mike urbanek. lot's of fun to play with so i've started another, much longer, animation piece using him. trying out a different, more cartoony, style to what i'm normally used to in work and what i've done in the past. Anyways...

Had a play with the rig that's being put together over on the 11 second club site. Them guys are doing a well good job, It's looking really good n it's fun to animate with. Spent a couple of hours doing this before christmas, only now decided to upload it. Hopefully will get another opportunity to animate it..

Crazy woman getting her strop on...
Another little something I done over the last couple of days, wasn't really planned out, just started with the initial pose n went from there. bit naughty but not an awful lot of time to plan anything out. But i plan to very soon. Plan to plan, anyways, took a couple of hours over 2 days, yet to jump in the graph editor n fiddle with the curves. Might do more with it, might not. Err yeah, pow...

Update and horse animation
Actually gonna start posting again, with a little update and something i had a crack at a while back.
So been in nottingham, England for over a year now, at Crytek, and it's been swell to say the least. Still can't believe my luck working on such a big title, for such a big company. Been hard work getting things done, long hours, but it'll be worth it when the game comes out. So that's all cracking :)
Haven't done much animation really outside of work so i need to get back in the swing of things. Try to get my skills up, and get reacquinted with maya. So i had a swing at a horse strut. Not the best animation, but got me back into using maya, and trying something different, though, slightly boring...anyways

A walk cycle with a gun
Another day, another bit of animation. Trying to get re-acquianted with max. took a couple of hours to do. Although its just a walk cycle i did enjoy varying it up a bit with the gun an' all.
